Christopher Cain running for Port Commission came to our last general meeting and talked informally to the colelctive and left some campaign flyers. Today I notice his campaign has posted a press release to our newswire. Yeah! Smart campaign. Anyway this is just the kind of news from progressive organizations I was hoping we'd get, and I think they should be rewarded for their efforts by getting in the feature column. There are some typos in the press release that I will clean up before "featuring." I also will post a small photo of Chris downloaded from his website. Here is my proposal:
subtitle: VOTE SEPTEMBER 16 PRIMARY
title: Progressive for Port Commission
text: OK we admit we have a soft spot for any candidate who would trudge down to our little media center and introduce himself at the general meeting, but this guy Chrisopher Cain also has the backing of a lot of progressives, so we're encouraging you to take a closer look. <a href="http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=32520&group=webcast>Christopher Cain, Seattle Port Commision candidate. </a>
