[Seattle-editorial] Article: An Aisle Seat - Same SexPartnerships
and America

Kristen,
Here's the quick low down, as I am heading back to work.
Post the whole article to our newswire (if you don't know how just ask).
Then send us the "highlight" paragraph, with an html link to the newswire
post. Basically with Judy, Nat T, and my approval it's already approved.
Look at the Bushwhacked post for an example. Then if no one else has posted
the story by tonight, I will do it when I get home from work. We do this
solely to keep frontpage features from being too long, but also to allow the
actually article to be as long as it needs to be.
Also I will look at the other stories later tonight when I have the time.
In addition, you should know that there are only a handful (1 handful) of
people currently active in the editorial group, so we welcome your help,
writing, editing, etc. It will also explain why there's little response
soemtimes, as it's pretty easy with our small group to have everyone busy at
one time on any given day.
We have meetings every Tuesday from 6-6:30pm 1415 3rd Ave, and sometimes
they go much later. You are more than welcome to attend.
Gentry

Go for it. Who is going to put it up? Kristen, at some point we should meet
face to fact to show how to propose feature proposals -- or maybe you can
figure it out via reading past emails. For now someone else can do those
details. I can't -- too much carpel tunnel right now -- I have to sign off
and do other work. Gawd, I feel like I'm gagged!
Best, Judy
