hot debate.  the 2 quotes are from different authors.  Distastefull?  yes- in more ways than one or 2

I agree about the no local news, about the right to filter it out- at least to a separate place/list if its just "world commentary" screeds etc.

I'd like the front page to be just real news, local issues and nothing else.  But if we move the open wire inside, we must be ready for the whiners and "censorship" ca-ca.  Worth it to me.  But in the current page design and ed policy, I woiuld vote only the empty and the trash be considered for hide, and would object for the others as noted.
