may i chime in for a second?
i would dearly love to implement some of the website features that other
imc's have, and people seem to want.
and when i retire, that may be possible.... but until then, i can only
accomplish what i can in the time i have; and the priority is to keep it
running, backed up, online. not the most beautiful, not as functional
as we all would like it to be. i make additions, changes when i can,
when i have time to learn what is needed. when assistance from other
imc tech people (outside of seattle) was requested, only little help was
given. i am grateful for the help of kellan in getting the site up and
running.
unless other **committed** (and very preferably, local) volunteers step
up to help (and follow through), the website cannot change much. i
can't do it all myself. folks who say they'll volunteer and then walk
away (there have been a number) are probably worse than no volunteers.
sb. - way too tired on a friday evening, hoping to catch up on sleep
over the weekend.
