[Seattle-editorial] Volunteer Stuff

Greetings,
My name is Adam Khatib and I'm writing in regards to working with the editorial community at Seattle IMC. 

I recently contacted the IMC about doing some volunteer story writing during a month long period which I would be staying in the Seattle area. I've recently arrived in  the Seattle area and I'm going to be around until between January 31. I'm interested in working with the editorial group on stories during the upcoming month as the majority of my journalistic media experience comes from the written editorial format. 

My experience comes from a position as head opinion editor for my former high school paper, contributing editorials to my campus newspaper, and internship for a 6 month period at The Poughkeepsie Journal (a Gannet owned newspaper) where I was given a freelance writing position.

I'm already signed up to the IMC and editorial e-mail servers, and was hoping to attend an upcoming meeting of editorial folk to discuss what I could help out with.
