[Seattle-editorial] (re)fp: a question for YOU

I owe Sheri an apology, I responded rudely to her
critique of my Feature Proposal, and that is of course
totally inappropriate, especially on a list like this
that is specifically for feed back etc. Sorry
everyone, and Sorry Sheri!
However, because of the communities I am a part of, I
cannot ask the public a supposedly objective question,
just after giving them the answer I want to hear.
Perhaps that wouldn't be so bad as a journalist, but
where I am coming from that's an unforgivable sin.
However, I agree that the feature I proposed needs an
introduction, and I haven't thought of one yet that
would remain reasonably objective. So here's my plans
for this:
#1: Please, any of you, feel free to use these
questions/feature any way you want: I don't see any of
it as unique. Open it any way you want, just don't
put my name on it.
#2: If I think of a decent introduction, and if I have
time, AND if #1 has not happened first, I will add the
introduction on and re-propose it to this list.
#3: If #1 or #2 does not happen by February, I will
post what I have, or something similar, to the
newswire, and hopefully that will get some kind of
on-line public conversation started about the issue.
