I am personally torn about this.

On one hand, the Seattle IMC is in the worst financial
shape in its history. We owe thousands to LIHI, we
have no income, and we are spending our savings for
storage, etc.

Some decisions about trimming expenses will be put
forth soon, in preperation for the re-organization
meeting on the 26th.

But having said all that about the Seattle IMC's
condition, we must be honest - we are still far better
off than the people seeking help. We could afford to
help them some, if we choose to.

But this is a decision for the entire group to make.
After we begin to re-organize. I, for one, as part of
the empowered "interum/emergency" committe, do not
feel this is a decision to be made by the committee -
only every person interested in attending and
rebuilding should decide. As a group.

And how are the state of Global finances? Are other
IMC's in a better position to help? Is this something
for Seattle IMC to do right now?

Comments?
