[Seattle-editorial] Convene: Editorial WG Meeting Tuesday, March 2nd, 2004

Members,

The Editorial Working Group of the Seattle Independent Media Center 
will hold a meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2004.

The location is the Cafe Solstice, 4116 University Way N.E. (The 
Ave) There be drinks both hot and cold during this Solstice 
gathering.

The agenda is wide open, but several folks have had a few items 
they've mentioned. Also, Seattletech deserves some guidance as to 
editorials intents and desires.

In respect for the 3 month pause in operations, we should keep the 
meeting informal, avoid policy discussions which call for 
substantial resource commitments, and concentrate on maintaining 
the site as a high quality community resource. 

We can use this opportunity to build upon the working relationships 
we've been privilidged to enjoy for these past 4 years. My wish is 
that we can mostly just get together, keep the lines of cooperation 
open and strong, and affirm our commitment to providing an 
alternative voice for the people. 

While I generally avoid 'feel-good' meetings, considering our 
present state, this would perhaps serve a most useful purpose. We 
can hold a 'Working' feel-good meeting.
