I was looking at a screen capture of the old site, and observed that the 
peace and justice calendar link, as well as a link to the feature 
archive, were at the top of the  center features column.

then i thought to look at the features archive.   that needs to be 
converted, so i will probably try to get the features archive to match 
the current look of the site, and when that is ready, work on putting in 
links to the calendar and the feature archive.
