[Seattle-editorial] spam on open wire

this morning i found  a large number of posted articles, containing  
single-letter  content.
i hide those posts.

i also learned the probable source of the posts.
for the time being, i have set the server to drop connections from that 
source ( i needed to do this at least temporarily to prevent more spam 
on the newswire while hiding.  )
